Tallamy Takes Center Stage in the Lanier Library Exhibit Case

Lanier Library is a treasure in our community. It is unique in that it is one of a very few remaining membership driven libraries in the country. As such, Lanier Library’s contribution to, and connect with, the local community is robust.

We are tremendously grateful to the library for jumping in during the early days of the Gardening For Life Project with funding. We truly could not have made the Gardening For Life Celebration happen without this kind of support.

Beyond being a funding Partner, The Lanier will be hosting our GFL Celebration Reception and they have showcased our March 4th keynote speaker, Douglas Tallamy, in the February exhibit case within the Library.

We encourage everyone to stop by and take a look.

Donna Wise, a member of the GFLP Leadership team, designed this tribute to Tallamy and to our wonderous natural world. When you gaze at it you might just feel like a kid who has just come back from a wander in the woods, with your pockets filled with stones and feathers and woodland treasures. It truly is magical and well worth a stop by the Lanie Library!

We hope you enjoy!
